Welch Packaging, a family-owned business that operates a network of custom corrugated manufacturing companies, has acquired Innovative Packaging Solutions (IPS) in York, Pennsylvania.

IPS is a corrugated manufacturer and packaging solutions provider known for their industry-leading service, commitment to customers, and special niche in the multi-functional reels. Established in 2000 by Chuck Kelley and Mike Rentzel, the company was created to provide high-end corrugated design services. In 2013, Chuck and Mike made the strategic decision to partner with Todd Witte, merging IPS with another corrugated production company, Packaging Control Corporation (PCC). Today, the company boasts a full suite of corrugated packaging products, capabilities, and design services.
“We are excited to welcome IPS to the Welch Packaging family of businesses,” commented Scott Welch, President and CEO of Welch Packaging, “IPS has a strong tradition of quality products and commitment to customers, which closely aligns with our core values. Furthermore, adding the reel business to our product portfolio will enhance our mission to provide the ultimate corrugated experience for our customers.”
Chuck Kelley, former President of IPS, will continue to oversee the business as the General Manager. Kelly comments, “Becoming a part of Welch Packaging’s network will be a huge benefit to us. The partnership will enable us to provide more comprehensive packaging solutions and resources to our customers, while maintaining the exceptional level of service they’ve come to expect from IPS.”
Specific terms of this agreement were not disclosed.

Seeing Scott Welch's excitement about adding IPS's reel business to Welch Packaging's portfolio really shows how specialized acquisitions can be. I was just thinking, imagine if we needed an online decibel meter to measure the excitement levels in these corporate mergers, it would probably hit peak. It's cool how Chuck Kelley stays on as GM after 23 years; that kind of continuity is comforting, right?
I read the post about Welch Packaging acquiring Innovative Packaging Solutions of York, PA, and it helped me see how smaller teams can grow with the right support and resources. When I was overwhelmed with a tough term, I needed online finance class help so I could focus on learning core ideas and still keep up. This made me think that teamwork and planning are important in both business changes and personal goals.
I found matlab assignment help useful while practicing MATLAB problems, especially for understanding logic errors and improving my coding approach.
UIDAI emphasizes the importance of Mandatory Biometric Updates for children reaching the ages of five and fifteen years. This process ensures that the biometric data remains accurate as the child grows, preventing authentication failures in the future. By maintaining current records, parents ensure their children can access educational and social benefits without any administrative delays.
This is great news! I'm excited to see Welch Packaging grow with this acquisition. IPS's focus on multi-functional reels and excellent customer service sounds like a perfect fit. Looking forward to seeing how this benefits both companies.
